Change in Brown Glassford Directors

17 October 2022

We are delighted to announce that we are appointing two new Directors at Brown Glassford; those appointees are Tim Wade and Sam Foster.

Tim Wade is a qualified Charted Accountant, and has joined us from another well respected Christchurch farm accounting practice, MacKay Bailey.
Tim has over 10 years experience specialising in agribusiness accounting at a senior level and is passionate about being part of the agri sector. Tim is driven to help his clients succeed by helping them to find out where they want to go, not just where they have been. He loves to keep his finger on the pulse by spending his spare time getting out on his in-laws farm as much as possible. Tim grew up on a small deer farm in the Waikato and has since moved to Canterbury where he has been heavily involved in supporting new and existing dairy clients in conjunction with other farming clients. Tim and his wife Cath have 3 daughters and live in the township of Lincoln.

Sam Foster is a qualified Chartered Accountant currently working at Brown Glassford, having made the decision last year to relocate to Canterbury from the Waikato with his fiancé Emma. Originally from the South Island, Sam has family ties to North Canterbury, the area in which he and Emma are building their new home. Sam is enjoying connecting with the local community, including playing rugby for Glenmark Cheviot and squash in Amberley. Having previously worked at PWC in Hamilton, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge in the farm accounting sector, as well as in the field of external audit. With this combination of knowledge, and Sam’s passion for the rural sector, he looks forward to working with clients and the wider Brown Glassford team to continue providing the best services for our clients’ needs.

This change is in anticipation of current director Cameron Rolls leaving Brown Glassford on the 31st March 2023. Cameron’s contribution to the continued development of Brown Glassford, and working with his clients since becoming a director in 2018 has been greatly appreciated, but for personal and family reasons Cameron has decided to make a change and resign as a director from 31 March 2023.

If you have any questions concerning this, please don’t hesitate to call Paul or David on our main office number (03) 365 0881.
